American rapper Doechii has cancelled three European festival performances at the last minute, and no one knows why. She was due to perform at Rock en Seine in France on 21 August, All Points East in London on 23 August, and Forwards in Bristol on 24 August.
Neither Doechii nor the festival organisers have shared any reasons for the sudden cancellations. All Points East, which also features artists like Raye and Tyla, released a statement saying, “We’re very sorry to announce that Doechii will no longer be performing at her upcoming shows. She is an incredible artist, and, like all of her fans, we were hugely excited to see her on stage.”
Earlier this month, Doechii announced her Live From the Swamp Tour, which is now sold out. The tour starts on 14 October in Chicago and will visit cities like Toronto, Houston, and Phoenix, before ending in Seattle on 10 November. The tour supports her Grammy-winning album Alligator Bites Never Heal. Doechii posted on social media, “One last time. This project just turned one, and before I disappear to create the next world, I’m going back on tour. The final chapter of this era. Thank you for the memories, the love—let’s close it out together.”
